After falling in love with the craft beers of the Midwest at Carleton College, Johnny started bartending and soon after took a job at Monday Night Brewing in Atlanta. Gaining experience in Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Production he then joined Union Beer Distributors in NYC as a Regional Buyer. While working at the wholesaler, he completed training at the American Brewers Guild leading to an apprenticeship at Sixpoint Brewery. His first brewing position was at LIC Beer Project followed by the R&D Brewery at Sixpoint Brewery. There he honed the skills that now create TALEA’s low-bitterness, fruit-forward, easy to love beers!
